Liquid Lipsticks- Review

Hi, guys! If you’ve been following me on Instagram, then you knew to be expecting this post!

If you know me you know I love 1. Makeup 2. A bargain but I DEFINITELY love 3. Makeup at a bargain price! So, without further ado, I present to you Shop Miss A’s ONE DOLLAR Wonder Matte Liquid Lipstick!

Let’s talk about the website to start off. Miss A is like a cheaper version of Ulta without the feeling of cheap. They carry their own brand, as well as others! They also have a higher end line of products called A2O Labs, which won’t break the bank either! These products stay around $5 a piece.

I was a little weary about this makeup, but I knew I wanted to give it a try for y’all and see what is worth the repurchase! When my package arrived in the mail, it came in a pretty standard black plastic package. Inside the package was a baby pink tissue paper/bubble wrapped mass full of $1 goodies that are definitely worth repurchasing!

I received five different shades of lipsticks, 5 matching lip liners and one Wonder Skin Poreless Primer (I will have a separate post for this)!

AOA Studios Wonder Matte Liquid Lipstick/Wonder Lip liners…Y’ALL. I am in love. First and foremost, these lippies have a matching sister (lip liner) which is SO important to me! The fact that you can get both for $2 is just amazing. I would absolutely recommend.

On first impression, the lipstick and liner packaging are very Kylie Cosmetic-esque. BUT, I will say…my $1 purchase actually lasts longer on my lips than my Kylie does.

Onward to what colors I purchased…

Trend. This color is everything to me. It was the first I swatched and the first I had to wear to work today. It’s just beautiful.

Blessed. This color is precious. Absolutely adorable. I love a nudey-pink shade, this one turned out to be a more Barbie pink with nude, but it is great for summer with my skin tone.

Blogger. Obviously, had to try this shade. This is really beautiful. It is the darkest of the ones I ordered, but it still is a great pair with my olive skin.

Bombshell. This shade is a step down on the pigment scale from Blogger. It shows up on my arm as very nude, but when paired with my base, blush and eyeshadow it pulls a very pinky undertone which I love!

Naked. If you were ever looking for the whole “Yes, my lips are naturally this color and naturally this amazingly beautiful” experience, then Naked is where you need to be. Not literally, but the shade totally hits a home run with me.

All in all, these guys are a must try. I have had breakfast, lunch and 2 liters of water today and my pigment is still on my lips. For $1, I would say is a great site to spend your dollar in one place!

Stay tuned on my Instagram! I will be posting some photos of these colors on me! Until next time…
